The Vermont Hotel sits at the top of Castle Garth Steps – almost literally on the doorstep of Newcastle Castle Keep – making it one of the most dramatically located hotels in the north of England. Weddings: The Vermont is one of Newcastle’s premier wedding venues – the ballroom holds several hundred guests and the team here have been running large-scale celebrations for decades. It books out well in advance, especially for summer Saturdays.
